MLB home run props for 5/15: We like these three guys for dingers

Double boom! We cashed Shohei Ohtani to go yard on Tuesday night, giving us two straight winning days in home run props to start the week. Let's keep the profit train rolling with three more HR bets for Wednesday's MLB slate.

Juan Soto (+450 FanDuel)

Yankees at Twins, 7:40 p.m. ET

This price doesn't make much sense. Juan Soto already has nine home runs this year, and he leads the New York Yankees in slugging percentage (.553) and RBIs against right-handed pitching. He's also batting .370 and slugging .815 with three home runs against Minnesota Twins starter Pablo Lopez in his career. Oh, and he ranks sixth in MLB in barrel rate (17.7 percent) this season. The only reason Soto is +450 is because the wind will be blowing in at Target Field, but he has the power to cut right through the breeze.

Taylor Ward (+500 DraftKings)

Cardinals at Angels, 9:07 p.m. ET

As is tradition, we're interested in fading Lance Lynn with a home run prop. The St. Louis Cardinals righty is giving up the 14th-highest barrel rate and the 29th-highest fly ball rate among qualified pitchers, and the wind will be blowing straight out to center field at Angel Stadium. Let's roll with Taylor Ward, who leads the Los Angeles Angels in barrel rate (12.3 percent) and has hit six of his seven homers this season off right-handed pitching. Ward is also 3-6 against Lynn in his career with two doubles.

Shohei Ohtani (+470 FanDuel)

Dodgers at Giants, 9:45 p.m. ET

From our home run piece on Tuesday: "Shohei Ohtani is almost an auto-bet whenever his home run odds are higher than +350." He was +360 then, and now he's +470 despite another strong, helping wind blowing out to center field at Oracle Park. We have no choice. Logan Webb is exceptional at forcing ground balls and keeping the ball in the park, but we're taking the best power hitter in baseball every time at this price, no matter the matchup.
